About DocketMill
DocketMill is a small independent studio. We make fillable business documents for working professionals — invoices, contracts, trackers, and intake forms that you download once and use for as long as you're in business — and we sell them through our Etsy shop.
What we believe about paperwork
A business document should do work, not just hold ink. Every DocketMill PDF is fillable with built-in calculations: type your quantities and rates, and line totals, tax, and grand totals compute instantly in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. No spreadsheet on the side, no second-guessing the math on an invoice you're about to send. And because paper still runs half the world's job sites, every purchase also includes a print-and-write version and a one-page quick-start guide.
We build per trade, not one-size-fits-all. A caterer bills headcounts and deposits; a tutor bills sessions; a cleaner bills rooms and add-ons. Our documents are designed around how each profession actually works — which fields, which calculations, which terms — because generic templates make you do the adapting.
What our documents are (and aren't)
They're professional templates and record-keeping tools: solid, tested starting points for running the paperwork side of a trade. They are not legal or tax advice — for anything high-stakes, have a professional review the terms for your situation and location.
How we work
We design and build with the help of modern AI tools, openly — including the guides on our blog, written in our own voice the same way. Every document is reviewed and tested before it's listed: layout checks, print testing, and the math verified by hand in Adobe Acrobat Reader. If a document wouldn't hold up in real use, it doesn't get listed.
